This card was made for today's inspiration challenge, it was also inspired by a card by 4hounds on SCS sorry I don't have the link I just drew a rough sketch of it. I loved the inspiration for today's challenge the colors are so yummy!! Don't forget to enter for the Blog Chocolate posted above! I will start answering some of the questions later today after I come back from my mountain of errands.....LOL!

If you would like to try this challenge you can do so here IC82 - Clothing.

One question I can answer right now is how Phoebe is doing, she is awesome and is loving life here or at least that is what I like to believe.....LMBO!! Here is a little story of how her days are going.....

Well yesterday she decided it would be a good idea to chew through the cord that goes to the modem for the Internet, so there I am trying to post on my blog and the Internet wasn't working took me a while to figure out why!! So luckily I had an extra cord so I replaced and voila Internet! So our day goes on when all of a sudden my mouse stops working I check the cord it's plugged tightly, no chew marks.....LOL, so I restart the computer thinking maybe a glitch, no that didn't work.........Phoebe had pierced a tiny hole in the keyboard cord and for some reason you can't use the mouse if the keyboard isn't working.......so off to future shop to buy a new keyboard. Now I have gotten smarter and barricaded the area to the cords!

Let's see what else she terrorized the cats, played ball, chewed on Stephanie......LOL! No actually she is a joy we are totally in love with her! So cute and fuzzy! And she loves us too when she sees one of us she runs full tilt ears flying back, wagging her tiny tail, then she will leap into your arms and give nice puppy kisses!!

Supplies: Delight in Life, happy Harmony, Bodacious Bouquet, Polka dots and paisley, Fancy pants Bella Brush and Pollen Dust, Cool Caribbean, Chocolate Chip, Close To Cocoa, Blush Blossom card stock, Cool Caribbean, Chocolate Chip, Close To Cocoa, Blush Blossom inks, gel pen, Brads, Cuttlebug, Brayer, chipboard, Scalloped oval punches, Corner Rounder, sponges, Markers, stylus, Foam Mat, ribbon, and Dimensionals

My heart goes out to Julia and her family at this difficult time. Cammie (SCS name) also posted a challenge for us to make cards for Julia, what a wonderful idea Carolyn (Cammie) is one of the sweetest people around. So in honor of Julia I stepped a little outside my comfort zone and tried to creat a card that reminded me of a card she might make herself. I only hope I did justice to her styling. Oh Happy Day!!

Why is it a happy day you ask?!!? Well I finally got a picture of the puppy we chose and she has the sweetest face, she looks so much like Emmie did when she was a puppy, we don't have a date yet but probably within the next 2 weeks she will be arriving here. We are so excited to be welcoming the newest addition to our family Phoebe Kate, we will just call her Phoebe but all our pets have 2 names we have Emmie Elizabeth, Angelis Nathaniel, and Fiki only one name because she is my mom's cat, that came to live her when she moved away.

So here she is Phoebe Kate!!

How did we come up with the name you ask????? Well as true blue stampers we started, naturally with products we love and i love basic Greys papers. I wanted Lily Kate but Jason didn't really like Lily so I had just gotten my Phoebe paper and suggested Phoebe and it fit perfectly Phoebe Kate! Phoebe is a Schnoodle a schnauzer/poodle cross, the same as Emmie. I am so excited that she will be here soon!!

Quick and Easy Cards

Today's TLC challenge was to create cards that are QUICK and EASY to either produce in bulk or create in 5-10 minutes. Her idea is inspired by her desire to encourage stampers use their talents to make card for the people in need of some good cheer in the Need a Lift Forum. What a great idea!! There are so many quick and easy cards that I have seen that are stunning! I have put together a few cards with this formula and absolulely love them!

Well it looks like we have actually found a puppy this time, the last one fell through as the lady was being very dishonest and kept changing her story, it didn't feel right so we chose to back out. I am just waiting for a picture of the little girls in the the litter so we can chose one, looks like our little girl will have to be flown in, poor little thing, but it appears to be the only way. As soon as I have a picture of her I will post her, we have already named her, but I will keep that a secret until we have a picture to go with her.

I love how the Tuscan Rose flourishes make it so easy to make a quick and elegant looking card! I also love the friends and forever words from my hubby's Langley Boy Designs. I may just have to go back and make some more!

Forever

Forever that is how long the day is without you, my love. I had wanted a stamp with the forever is bold letters but not fancy, just a strong bold word that when you saw it you believed it, so I Jason create me this stamp, as part of his Langley Boy Designs. I really love the simplicity of the design. Today's way to use it challenge was to use flourishes, well I love working with flourishes, I used both my Tuscan Rose and my Fancy Pants Bella Brush flourishes (Doodlie Doo). I love how the fancy pants compliments the Tuscan Rose Flourishes perfectly.

If you are interested in this challenge you can check it out here WT117-Fabulous Flourishes!.

Happy Anniversary to my husband Jason!! Excuse me while gush a while, Jason your are my everything, all I have ever or will ever need, you are my other half and without you I would not be complete. So Happy Anniversary I Love You!

So this is the card that I created for our anniversary, I will warn you the inside is a bit naughty, but the out side is from todays TLC challenge Gout Free tiling, if you would like to trt this challenge out you can do so here TLC120 - Grout Free Tiling. For the outside I first stamped what would be the tiles with small hand prints(walmart) and covered it with versa mark and clear embossing powder and then heat set that then I ran it through the cuttlebug and used my square punch to punch out squares. Then layed down the squares like tile easy as pie *wink*

For the inside I used my CM cutting system to cut out the circles, sponged the blush card stock with blush ink, for the brad I cut a circle in half and used the corner rounder punch to get the scalloped edge. I was inspired to try this after seeing HeatherN and Carriejoe's (SCS) round cards.

Well I am off to take my step-dad to the hospital for his tests, I hope I do get time to have dinner with my hubby later.

I finally got my Papertrey Ink stamps, finally meaning I finally ordered them they were actually here pretty quick from the time I ordered them. I love this little lady she is so sweet! For today's Limited Supply Challenge, the challenge was to make your own background, not using any background stamps big or small, no cuttlebug, no wheels or patterned paper. So I used the flowers from the little lady set to create a background. I really like the red and black contrast!

Well it looks like the ex may have a place, this is a funny little story! My mom got this apartment about a 2 years ago, she lived there for a year, then she moved up north and my step-dad took the apartment over he has been there for a year now and he is moving this weekend and now it looks like the ex is going to live there...... too funny! At least the kids will be very familiar with it...LOL! So he meets the landlady to discuss everything today so I am excited if all goes well he could have possession by the end of the weekend!

Well today my journeys are taking back to the dentist with Megan for a cleaning, I hope she does well, for all her other dental work we have had her sedated, so this is her first cleaning awake the dentist thought we should try again, we do know she has one cavity so she will be going back to the pediatric dentist to be sedated for the filling, as our dentist does not think she could sit still through all noise of the drilling let alone the needle.

Perhaps Says Hi!

Perhaps Says hi ?? Perhaps Basic Grey Paper says hi that is.....LMBO! I love all Basic Grey's paper's the are just gorgeous! Today's Way To Use It Challenge was to find ways to use chipboard, I just ordered some but it is not here yet, so I had to use the chipboard coasters I have to make the flowers and the letters. The flowers were made with my cuttlebug die cut, and the letters were made by stamping Headline Alphabet onto chipboard and cutting it out with scissors.

I am not too sure about the layout I chose but I think I am warming up to it. I was talking to my mom on the phone while making this card, she just got home from a 3 week rotation at the diamond mine where she works, so my attention was a little distracted. They sent her home late yesterday because she has pneumonia, so hopefully with some rest and antibiotics she will be as good as new very soon.

Well my trip to dentist with Steph was eventful yesterday, no cavities!! But........ apparently she has two teeth that are kind of forming a tee pee shape, not letting the adult tooth between them come up, so she has to see an orthodontist next week about putting in some kind of bridge to push her teeth apart. Can you say Cha-ching! We do have 50% coverage for orthodontics so at least that will help some, and tomorrow I get to take Megan for her cleaning........ I am hoping for good news.

Well the ex hasn't had any luck finding a place, he is going to be able to see one on Saturday so once again I will be crossing my fingers and praying that he gets the place. Other then that we are doing OK, the girls are enjoying having him around so that part is nice.

Fancy Pants Believe

I thought it would be fun to share some fun facts about chocolate with you for this Chocolate Sunday. I can tell you I will eating a ton of chocolate in the near future, with having the EX stay with us and all, I will use to calm and soothe me......LMBO!! do I really need an excuse.....**wink**

Fun Chocolate Facts

On the fourth visit of Christopher Columbus to the Americas, he came across cocoa beans, which he presented to the Spanish court. King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, however, dismissed chocolate as a bizarre tribal concoction. Boy, did they miss the boat!

“Giri Choco” is a japanese custom which means “duty chocolate.” It calls for employees to give chocolates to their managers as a token of loyalty.

A recent study indicates when men crave food, they tend to crave fat and salt. When women crave food, they tend to desire chocolate.

The botanical name of the chocolate plant is Theobramba cacao, which means “Food of the Gods.”

Chocolate was considered an aphrodisiac by the Aztec Indians, and as such, was forbidden to women. Today, some postulate that chocolate triggers a brain chemical that produces the same reaction brought on by a passionate love affair. Perhaps that is why, when a love affair turns sour, many a spurned lover goes on a chocolate binge.
