I *Heart* You!!

I got my Lace Heart set from Flourishes in the mail yesterday, I just love this heart it is GORGEOUS!! I do believe it will be seeing a great deal of ink.....LOL!! When I first saw the heart it just reminded me of the bodice on a wedding dress, so I just had to try to create one. I used some white tulle to create the skirt the tulle was actually left over from my wedding!! The heart was stamped on White shimmer paper with versa mark the I poured a combo of white ep and glitter and heart set, I love the subtle sparkle it has.

The next thing I thought about was Chocolate!! I altered an acrylic heart with Basic Grey 6 x 6 Infuse paper, I think it almost turned out to look like a chocolate cake. The chipboard letters we stamped with Chocolate chip ink using the heart from the Lace heart set. I love how the letters came out. I stamped the inside with the saying" How do I love thee? Let me count the ways."

Then I filled the heart with pink M & M's! so once eaten they will reveal the message!!

Wow we are still trying top get back on track from the holidays, and Jason has been home so I have been spending some time with him. I will be in my studio most of the day working on some pretty cool projects that I will share with you a little later!

I hope you Enjoy your Saturday!!

Wedding Dress Supplies: Lace Heart, Flourishes LLC, Shimmer white, creamy caramel card stock, Versa mark, white EP, Glitter, Tulle, Pearls, and Dimesionals.

Heart Box Supplies: Lace Heart, Flourishes LLC, Infuse basic Grey, Chocolate chip and black ink, Ribbon, Acrylic heart from (ferraro rochet chocolates), crystal effects, Chipboards letters.

Merry Kissmas

Awww......so cute Pixel and Pookie snuggling under the mistletoe, I just adore these images that Stampendous has come up with. Who doesn't love a good snuggle under the mistletoe with their sweetie??!!

Well my kids are starting to get quite excited about Santa's nearing visit, I am so lucky both girls still believe with all their hearts, a rare thing at age 12 1/2 and 11. I want my girls to be kids as long as they can, I had to grow up way too fast and didn't want that for them. Jason and I were saying what happens if they believe in Santa right up into adulthood....... well I guess we will have to break into their houses and leave gifts from Santa.....LOL!

Well i just have a few stocking stuffer's to wrap up then I am finished.....whew! Tomorrow we are going to have dinner with my Dad's sister, she seems to be having a bit of a difficult time adjusting to not having him here this year. I hope our visit will help her feel a little better.

Wishing you all a Very Merry Christmas!!

Supplies: CC designs, Pixel and Pookie stamps (Stampendous), Real red, bashful blue, watercolor paper, Daisy D's dp, Black ink, Copics, Ribbon, Brads, Bling and Dimensionals.

I was at first shocked and upset when Mandy ( Jason Giddeon) left the show just cause he was such a strong character and a great leader. But I like how Hodgener has stepped up mind you I adored him as Greg in Dharma and Greg. At first I was not thrilled with the new guy that they brought to the team but as each episode progresses I am finding a place for him in my heart......LOL!! Oh man is the show getting intense!! The whole Gracia shooting thing??!! One the edge of my seat!!! Yes I will yell at the TV **blushing** so poor Jason has to listen to me yelling look out!!.......LOL! I think my favorite character now that Giddeon is gone has to be Morgan, strong , sensitive, type reminds me of my hubby my hero!! Mind you I love Reid too he is a hoot I love his ramblings!! I can't wait to see where they take us next!!

Supplies: Inkadinkado snowman stamp, Real red, river rock, old olive, white and dashing dp, Black ink and versa mark, copics, ribbon, bling, holly leaves and berry brad, Iridescent ice , ticket corner punch and dimensionals.

Snowman Tree Ornament

I made this ornament actually I made 6 of them for Megan and Stephanie's aides at school as well as one for my mom and my sister! isn't that just the sweetest face!! I got the tutorial and box instructions from here Gift Box Lynda's snowmen and boxes were just too darling for words!!

I just love the boxes the will house these cute little snowmen!! I couldn't decide one which box to post so I posted box styles!!

Supplies: Pink, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi card stock, DP, Ribbon, circle cutter, crop-i-dile, clear bulbs, white paint, stickles, fuzzy socks, snowman button, sharpie pen, gold cord, orange wire, sticky strip tape.

I used an adult sized sock to I could get two hats out of every sock instead of a kid sized sock where I could only get one hat per sock.

The sock I cut in half then cut the toe section off so i have 2 tube like pieces, I used sticky strip to attach hat to the bulb, then cut the top of the sock into quarters, the cut the quarters into strips. and tied off with ribbon making sure to secure it around the top of the bulb.

The nose is orange wire curled around a pencil to make the shape and attached with crystal effects.
