Skating Pond

I have these cute little Pixel and Pookie stamps from Stampendous and they have been begging to be inked up! So I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried to create a scene, not my strong suit. I need a little more practice but all and all I think I am happy with it.

The pond is covered with crystal effects look like real ice in real life. Well I should get busy I have a ton of things to do today before school lets out!

Merry Christmas to you all!!

Supplies: Flaky friends, Stampendeous Pixel and Pookie stamps, Real red, old olive, river rock and watercolor paper. black, burnt umber, wild wasabi, barely banana, and close to cocoa inks, copics, liquid appliqué, stickles, crystal effects, and dimesnionals.

I think you did a great job on your scene! I just don't DO scenes because they are so difficult. I also didn't realize until I was blog surfing today and read somewhere that the Langley Boy Designs on Gina K's site are designed by your hubby. How cool is that? I have the underwear set and have used it a few times.
