For those of you who may not know Megan is Autistic so these kind of things are huge in our house.

The Inside

I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day! So for this Chocolate Sunday I thought I would treat you to some chocolate beauty treatment recipes! These recipes are Delicious! I have included the web address just in case you want to check out their other recipes.

Today, the good news about chocolate, especially the dark variety, just keeps on coming. Not only does it kick up the feel-good juices in our brains, but chocolate is loaded with anti-aging vitamins and minerals. Plus, the caffeine in cocoa is said to help reduce the appearance of cellulite. Bring on the cocoa!

Cocoalicious Body Glow

A sweet and stimulating cocoa body scrub.

You know that warm, glowing sensation you get when you're first caught in the throngs of Cupid's arrow? Or that singular flush that comes from biting into a decadent dark chocolate dessert? Well somewhere in between love and chocolate is normal, everyday life and this simple, sugary concoction is just the thing to cook up when life needs a little sweetening! Great for sharing (nudge nudge, wink wink).
Here's what you do:
Mix ingredients thoroughly in a glass bowl. Start with just a few drops of the fragranced oils until you get the aroma you want. In the shower, gently rub all over body while thinking loving, sweet thoughts! Rinse thoroughly. To keep the good vibrations going, dry off and moisturize with a light dosing of almond oil mixed with a drop of fragranced oil.
You'll need:
1/2 cup Turbinado sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons almond oil
1 tablespoon cocoa
Raspberry fragranced oil
Dark chocolate fragranced oil

This cocoa recipe has many variations. It might as well be called cocoa powder facial mask recipe as you really need cocoa, not chocolate to prepare it. But you must agree, for the sake of skin care, chocolate mask sounds so much more appealing.

Chocolate Face Mask Recipe

Ingredients:

1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 cup of honey
2 tablespoons of heavy cream (sour cream will work as well)
3 teaspoons of oatmeal powder
Preparation:

Mix all the ingredient until the mass in consistent. Apply on the face, gently massaging it so that oatmeal can start exfoliating the dead skin cell layer. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and rinse off with luke warm water.

In case you are wondering, there is a reason oatmeal and honey are added to this mix. Similar to its use in body scrub recipes, oatmeal it is recommended for sensitive skin, but can be used in preparation of facial masks for any skin type, as well as for preparation of facial exfoliates as it is gentle on the skin, yet highly powerful.

Honey on the other hand, is a great anti-bacterial agent, deeply cleanses your skin and opens up clogged pores. Now that you know all these benefits of chocolate, not only can you be guilt free while eating it, you can prepare an excellent chocolate face mask recipe and aid to your skin's youthful look and nourishment.

What my DH made this weekend

Video of the diorama This is a video of a diorama that my husband made this weekend while we crafted together . He had the idea while looking at an empty prima flowers case . He used the empty box cut out the front , made a cylinder out of window sheets , stamped colored and cut out all the booglie eyed characters glued them onto the cylinder with a skewer down the middle to make the dancing characters . He then used Lovely as a tree set for the background . He hand drew the fire from a stamp he saw on some other site .

After that project was done he made another project while I worked on my own . It was a paint can that resembled a penguin for a container to hold these toques that look like little penguins he loves to make so much , here's what the can and the toques look like together .
