Eggstra Special Easter Treats

Who doesn't like Eggstra special easter treats?? The first project I made was an egg shaped gift bag. I used my creative memories oval cutter to cut out the shape. I used a pink paper bag cut down in size for the inside, I just love how this bag is able to stand up perfectly on it's own!

The bunny was made using my cm oval cutter, oval and circle punches from SU. The handles on the bag were also created SU's oval punch.

To answer the question "Where can I find the ribbon ring?" right here ---> Ribbon Ring <---

Supplies:Green galore, pretty in pink, white cs, Romani dp, oval cutter, oval punches, circle punch, googlie eyes, marker, white singlo pen, and ribbon.

My Second Easter treat started with a little pink bucket from the dollar store. Isn't it just the sweetest!!I attached ribbon along the top actually there there are 2 holes in the front and back of the pail, that the ribbon is feed through. I glued on some primas using glue dots and added some bling for a little more effect.

Two super quick easter treats! I just love making gifts for people!!

Enjoy your weekend!!

Today's way to use it challenge was to use your computer to in your card or project. I used my computer to print out the template for this carrot box.

Such a cute box for giving away a little easter treat I am going to make a few more and give them to the Girl's aide for easter.

***EDITED TO ADD*** This box is actually quite large it is about 10" long and 2-4' wide so it will actually hold a good amount of M&M's, pencils, Chocolate eggs, robin's eggs, gift certificate hershey kisses. the possibilities are endless.

Here are the Valentine's I made for the girls they also get a box of chocolates (not shown) I made their Valentine's they same other then the dp only because I didn't feel like listening to "she got the _____ you love her more then me" yep that's my oldest.......LOL!! We gave her the native name "grass is always greener" to funny!! Our youngest we called "likes to eat foam" I will fill you in on that story at a later date.

Hugs and Kisses

I couldn't let Valentine's Day pass without making an acetate (window sheet, transparency) 2,4,6,8 box......LOL! You know how much I love making them! I made this one for the MY Favorite Things Guest Designer challenge, the challenge was to make a container that holds candy.

I filled it with Heshey's hugs and kisses along with some chocolate lips.....they are so cute!! If you are interested in the directions for these boxes you can find them hereAcetate 2,4,6,8 box, I also have it posted under tutorials on the side bar.

I seem to be coming down with the flu today, I have a fever, stuffy, very sore chest, chills, body ache.........yadayada. I hate being sick especially hate it when it settles in the chest such as this one seem to be doing. Being up most of the night probably didn't help either, apparently both dogs had the stomach flu last night, so we made multiple trips outside, and a few clean up too......yuck! They are indoor dogs so I am aware of things that the can eat, and all they had yesterday was dog food, so I am assuming it must have been some kind of flu for them??? They seem back to normal this morning yay!!

!!!BIG BIG SALE at Treehouse Stamps they are making room for all the new sets that are coming out in a few weeks so it is 50% off the two winter sets!!! Don't miss out on this awesome savings!

I Scrapped!!

I wasn't going to share this with you right away, this is the album that I made for Embellish It January gallery. Theme was Baby It's Cold Outside, I got to pick it!! And when it is cold outside nothing warm my heart more then some sweet sweet memories of my girls growing up.
Please keep in mind I have not scrapped in over 3 years the last time I scrapped stickers were in, so this was all very new to me.

This First page is Megan and the words on the page are from Rascal Flatt's "My Wish"

I hope the days come easy and the moments pass slow,
and each road leads you where you wanna go,
and if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose,
I hope you choose the one that means the most to you.
And if one door opens to another door closed,
I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window,
if it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile.
But more than anything, more than anything...

This page is Stephanie on her first birthday, my princess her name actually means the one who wears the crown.....LOL!

These 2 pictures are Megan with the Angel wings and Stephanie on the patio furniture, I love my girls the angel picture is one of my all time favorite pictures of Megan.

Again one picture of Megan and one (baby) picture of Stephanie she was soooo cute!!

This one is a picture of Stephanie one of my favorites of her I love that hat I have pictures of all of us wearing it! The words on this page are a continuation and they read

My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to,
your dreams stay big, your worries stay small,
You never need to carry more than you can hold,
and while you're out there getting where you're getting to,
I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too,
Yeah, this, is my wish.

This picture is of Megan at 6 weeks old too cute!! and the last of the words are
I hope you never look back, but you never forget,
all the ones who love you, in the place you left,
I hope you always forgive, and you never regret, and you help somebody every chance you get,
Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake,
and always give more than you take.

I *Heart* You!!

I got my Lace Heart set from Flourishes in the mail yesterday, I just love this heart it is GORGEOUS!! I do believe it will be seeing a great deal of ink.....LOL!! When I first saw the heart it just reminded me of the bodice on a wedding dress, so I just had to try to create one. I used some white tulle to create the skirt the tulle was actually left over from my wedding!! The heart was stamped on White shimmer paper with versa mark the I poured a combo of white ep and glitter and heart set, I love the subtle sparkle it has.

The next thing I thought about was Chocolate!! I altered an acrylic heart with Basic Grey 6 x 6 Infuse paper, I think it almost turned out to look like a chocolate cake. The chipboard letters we stamped with Chocolate chip ink using the heart from the Lace heart set. I love how the letters came out. I stamped the inside with the saying" How do I love thee? Let me count the ways."

Then I filled the heart with pink M & M's! so once eaten they will reveal the message!!

Wow we are still trying top get back on track from the holidays, and Jason has been home so I have been spending some time with him. I will be in my studio most of the day working on some pretty cool projects that I will share with you a little later!

I hope you Enjoy your Saturday!!

Snowman Tree Ornament

I made this ornament actually I made 6 of them for Megan and Stephanie's aides at school as well as one for my mom and my sister! isn't that just the sweetest face!! I got the tutorial and box instructions from here Gift Box Lynda's snowmen and boxes were just too darling for words!!

I just love the boxes the will house these cute little snowmen!! I couldn't decide one which box to post so I posted box styles!!

Supplies: Pink, Purely Pomegranate, Wild Wasabi card stock, DP, Ribbon, circle cutter, crop-i-dile, clear bulbs, white paint, stickles, fuzzy socks, snowman button, sharpie pen, gold cord, orange wire, sticky strip tape.

I used an adult sized sock to I could get two hats out of every sock instead of a kid sized sock where I could only get one hat per sock.

The sock I cut in half then cut the toe section off so i have 2 tube like pieces, I used sticky strip to attach hat to the bulb, then cut the top of the sock into quarters, the cut the quarters into strips. and tied off with ribbon making sure to secure it around the top of the bulb.

The nose is orange wire curled around a pencil to make the shape and attached with crystal effects.
